The Experts

Bill Storey, CPA, CEP

Managing Partner, Head of Equity Accounting & Financial Reporting

Bill is a seasoned equity compensation professional with more than two decades of experience. He equips the teams he leads and supports with the technical expertise and resources needed to help clients navigate the complex accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements associated with equity compensation programs and employee stock purchase plans (ESPPs).

Bill earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University Bloomington’s Kelley School of Business. His prior roles include Managing Partner of the equity consulting firm Your Equity Solutions or YES Team, Equity Compensation Senior Manager, SEC Reporting Manager/Preparer, and Corporate Internal Senior Auditor for several publicly traded companies. He began his career as an external auditor with a Big 4 public accounting firm.

Bill is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Indiana and a Certified Equity Professional. He currently serves on the Certified Equity Professional Institute Advisory Board (since September 2025) and is a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP). He has previously volunteered with the CEP Exam Curriculum Committee and served as a board member for a grassroots charter school supporting diverse/multi-lingual students in grades K–8. Bill is also a frequent guest speaker and panelist at industry conferences focused on equity compensation.

LoAn Kloosterman, CEP

Partner, Head of Equity Admin Services

LoAn is a seasoned equity administration expert, bringing over a decade of experience in managing and optimizing equity processes since 2015. Specializing in SEC Section 16 reporting (Form 3, 4, and 5), she ensures compliance and accuracy in regulatory filings while implementing best practices in equity plan management.

Throughout her career, LoAn has successfully guided clients through seamless transitions to new equity management databases, enhancing efficiency and streamlining operations. Her deep expertise in equity processes, coupled with a strategic approach to implementation and compliance, makes her a valuable asset to organizations looking to strengthen their equity administration practices.

LoAn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from California State University, East Bay (formerly CSUH). She is also a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) and an active member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP).
